It happens everywhere, starting from the classrooms in college. You're given an essay question, as a student you feel complied to regurgitate EVERY knowledge you've been thought regarding the subject without filtering the necessity or relevance of the words you write.
The Good news? You scored full marks, congratulations!
The Bad news? You've wasted 30 minutes on a question which suggested you spend 10 minutes only...
Behold the man of simplicity in action: STEVE JORDAN
The quote which I've used as the topic for this post was first heard in an instructional video of a funky drummer called Steve Jordan (Coincidentally, he's born at the same year as Malaysia gaining independance - 1957). The man is regarded by many as the greatest and most influential drummers of all time. It was not because of his technicality or his speed which amazed the crowd. It was his "groove" in music which was simple, yet "ear-catching". Contrast to metal drummers who produce a WOW effect through insane speed and ridiculously long rolls, he merely plays variations based on a core beat and expands on it with Crescendos (Getting Louder), Decrescendos (Getting Softer) and pauses in between the music. For live example: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sFH8iMb0fEQ
In your everyday life, start with speaking less and listening more. God gave you 2 ears and 1 mouth for a reason ya know - Hearing twice as much as you should speak.
I'll end this post with a personal experience. I find that the many happiness comes from simple joys in life which many have taken for granted. I.E. Being able to have 3 warm meals a day, 6 hours of sleep (most of the time) and my parents and grandparents which are alive, well and love me. Cherish the many simple things in life people!

Simplicity is not only to save time effort but also learn better....
